佃の住宅案件 ~ Lantern house

下町エリア特有の木造密集地域の住宅建替計画である。

細い路地が走る下町風景や、古くからの地域のコミュニティに対して、どのようにプライバシーを守りつつ、如何にして街へ溶け込ませるのかを模索した。

道幅が狭い前面道路に対し内部空間をセットバックさせて、街とのバッファーゾーンとなるような半屋外のテラスを設けた。

そのテラスには光が必要な箇所に開口をあけることで内部機能の要求を満たした。
同時にランダムなリズムを持つファサードを演出している。

開口は室内から見ると街を切り取る額縁となり室内空間の広がりを演出しつつ、日常生活は暖かい
光となり街へと漏れ出して地域を安心させる。

This is a housing reconstruction plan for a densely built-up wooden area peculiar to the downtown area. We sought to find out how to protect the privacy of the downtown landscape with narrow alleys and the old local community, and how to blend it into the city. Set the internal space for the front road with a narrow road width A semi-outdoor terrace was set up to serve as a buffer zone with the city. The terrace met the demands of internal functions by opening openings where light was needed. At the same time, it produces a façade with a random rhythm. The opening becomes a frame that cuts out the city when viewed from the room Everyday life is warm while creating an expanse of indoor space It becomes light and leaks into the city to reassure the area
